Cajun Shrimp Maque Choux

Maque Choux reminds me of my childhood and all the times my grandmother had me gather up vegetables from her garden so that she could cook this traditional South Louisiana dish, which was said to have been passed down from the Native Americans to the Cajuns. There are many different versions of this recipe. I make a Cajun Shrimp Maque Choux where my grandmother made a Corn Maque Choux using mostly vegetables. Cajun Shrimp Maque Choux Recipe

Shrimp Balls

This Shrimp Balls recipe I am sharing is similar to my popular Crawfish Balls recipe. I recently concocted this recipe after many of my readers asked if shrimp could be used instead of crawfish. My friend Gidget from The Crab Man Plus gave me the fresh shrimp I cooked for this recipe. My family tested the Shrimp Balls and agreed that they are just as delicious as the Crawfish Balls. I hope you enjoy this tasty recipe. Shrimp Balls

Cajun Creamy Shrimp Pasta

I am sharing my "Cajun Creamy Shrimp Pasta" recipe that my son helped me cook. I have learned that my son will eat and try new foods if he helps with the preparation. While my child and I were preparing the creamy shrimp pasta he asked if he could add bacon, I was for the idea as long as he knew I would include mushrooms and bell peppers. After we had cooked the food, we sat down for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised when my son devoured all the food on his plate, even the mushrooms and bell peppers! This creamy, delicious Cajun shrimp pasta has become a family favorite. Cajun Creamy Shrimp Pasta
Jaked Up Cajun Shrimp Recipe

Jacked Up Cajun Shrimp

I hope you enjoy my Jacked Up Cajun Shrimp that I made using Bourbon. I decided to be a bit adventurous by adding alcohol to my recipe. I figured a little bourbon would take these gorgeous shrimp to another level. Just don't guzzle down the bottle of bourbon before you finish cooking your shrimp and forget them in the oven. If your not much of a drinker like myself, no reason to worry the shrimp doesn't have a strong bourbon taste. If you're allergic to alcohol, omit the bourbon from the recipe.
