This quick and easy Coney Island Chili Cheese Hot Dog recipe tastes delicious and makes the perfect meal to serve at cookouts during summer.

Ingredients
- 6–8 hot dogs
- can chili
- cheddar cheese
- 6–8 hot dog buns
- 1 cup white onion; diced
- yellow mustard
Instructions
- Place hot dog on a warm skillet or indoor grill, and cook on all sides about 2 minutes total. Or you could grill the hot dogs outside on an outdoor grill. You could also steam or grill the hot dogs.
- Microwave the chili or cook on stovetop for the time directed on the can. Place hot dog into the bun. You can steam or grill the hot dogs buns for a few minutes until they’re warm.
- Top with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard.
Notes
You can use homemade chili instead of can chili if you want. Make sure to use chili without beans.
